Once our support service is activated, by either phone or email, our local technical team will instantly receive your message, Subject to the nature of your message/enquiry and availability of team members you will be contacted as soon as practical. We judge ourselves a by how quickly we respond to your enquiry.

In the event of a total or major network blackout we apologise that we may be too busy to answer voice mail or email messages as our priority will be to fix the problem. However, we will seek to message effected customers by SMS as soon as practical. We have customer mobile phone numbers from your initial Service Order Form, please make sure your most up to date mobile number is registered with us (to avoid missing important SMS messages).

Special Notice
In the event of a localised power-cut or fibre-strike in your vicinity your broadband (which requires 13 amp power) will not work. However, you can use your mobile to call our support telephone number 01635 800 360 to ring-in the fault. We recommend you stick HCB's support number on the side of the router, so you know where to find it.

N.B. Customers must have an alternative means of contacting emergency services such as a mobile phone, particularly if there are any ‘vulnerable' persons within the property. Small batteries can be attached to your router to provide a temporary power source or uninterrupted power source (UPS) in case of a power cut. Please contact us via the HCB support number if you want any help on the subject of UPSs.
